Our cattery, Formula Uspekha, specializes in breeding cats in two popular breeds, the Siberian (Neva Masquerade) and the Maine Coon.

 My unique cats

Greetings! I came across your site when I was checking out pics of Maine Coons. It would seem that my male rescue cat, Paquito is part Maine Coon, part something else.

The female rescue cat, Zahara is pure black, short hair. Zahara has had a couple of litters in which all the cats have that squirrel tail, fluffy, almost wild like with incredible coats, and also a few which would appear to be part Siberian, creamy in color with the most amazing markings.

The vet I took Paquito to said he had never seen a cat like him, he's almost lionesque. He just labelled him a domestic long hair.

I'm just curious if there is a site I can go to where I could possibly post pics and get some input from folks who would be able to help identify the breed?

Everyone who's seen my cats are totally captivated by them as they're not your typical looking cats. Any feedback would be appreciated!


Reply from Caroline (Admin): A great site about Maine Coon-type cats, with lots of pictures of the incredible diversity of Maine Coons is Maine Coon Cat Nation.

Otherwise you could try a site called Pictures of Cats, which might also be able to help.
